Buses in Florence Italy

The bus service in Florence is governed by the company Autolinee Toscane.

Tickets are valid for 90 minutes and can be purchased at supermarkets Coop, tobacco shops, newspaper merchants and even in some bars.

Beware: They cannot be purchased on board buses.

Be careful to validate your ticket by getting on board, fines are high and checks frequent.

The Tramway in Florence

There are two Tram lines in Florence, managed by a subsidiary of RATP.

The T1 line is mainly used to connect the south-western part of Florence to Santa Maria Novella train station while the T2 line connects central Florence to Florence Peretola Amerigo Vespucci Airport in 20 minutes.
